Dr. Barton is a colorectal surgeon with Northwest Permanente in Portland, OR. He completed his general surgery training at Oregon Health and Sciences University, and his colorectal surgery training at UT Houston's Colon & Rectal Clinic of Houston.

Monika A. Krezalek, MD, MS, FACS, FASCRS
Dr. Krezalek received her MD from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her residency, basic science fellowship, and Master of Science in Public Health Sciences degree at the University of Chicago. Dr. Krezalek completed her residency in colon and rectal surgery at the Mayo Clinic. She is currently at the NorthShore University HealthSystem (Endeavor Health) in North Chicago. She is the NAPRC Program Director for the institution. She also has an appointment as an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago.
Alexis Nestor Plasencia, MD
Dr. Plasencia earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami. After earning his medical degree at Temple University Medical School, Dr. Plasencia completed his general surgery Residency at the University of California, Irvine. He then completed a colorectal surgery fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Plasencia returned to Southern California as an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University and Riverside University in 2020. In 2023, Dr. Plasencia joined Riverside University Health System full time as the Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery, establishing its first Colon and Rectal Surgery Department.
