Dr. Houlihan received her BA from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, which was followed by receiving her MD from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. She then completed a residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Houlihan completed her training with a fellowship in Colon and Rectal surgery at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. She now works at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Professor Art Hiranyakas is a world-renowned colorectal surgeon, serving as a Director of the Bangkok-Phuket Colorectal Disease Institute and a Governor of the American College of Surgeons. His extensive advanced training across the United States, Australia, and Singapore has established him as an expert in advanced robotic and laparoscopic techniques.

Dr. Force is a board-certified colorectal surgeon who earned her Doctor of Medicine from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, New York. She completed her surgical residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida. Dr Force spent 6 years at the University of Miami where she was an assistant professor of colon and rectal surgery and associate program director of the general surgery residency program. While there, she succeeded in establishing a National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer for the institution. Dr. Force is the author of numerous books and publications. She is now practicing at Advent Health in Orlando, Florida.
