The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. Continuing Medical Education Credit
The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) designates this live activity for a maximum of 33.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Attendees can earn 1 CME credit for every 60 minutes of educational time.
Continuing Nursing Education Accreditation
SynAptiv is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Provider approved by California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #16031 for 33.75 contact hours.
Many of the sessions offered at the Annual Meeting are designated as self-assessment CME credit, applicable to Part 2 of the ABCRS MOC program. In order to claim self-assessment credit, attendees must participate in a post-test that must be completed and passed with a minimum score of 75% in order to receive Self-Assessment (MOC) Credit. If you do not pass the test, you will receive the regular CME credit for the session.
The 2020 scientific offerings assist the physician with the six core competencies first adopted by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
The ASCRS online evaluation site for the 2020 Annual Meeting allows you to complete evaluations online for all the certified CME sessions you attend. You will be able to print your CME/MOC Certificate from your home or office when you receive your email confirmation.
You can also complete your evaluations through the ASCRS Annual Scientific Meeting Mobile App.
You will be asked to enter your Last Name and ID Number to complete the evaluations. Your ID can be found on your Annual Meeting registration card and badge, or log in to the ASCRS website and click My Account. Please remember to print and save a copy of the certificate with your CME for your records. We ask that you complete your online evaluations by August 31, 2020.
