Dr. You is a Professor in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her A.B. from Harvard University and MD from Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. She then went on and completed her general surgery and colorectal surgery fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic. She is the medical director of the Familial High risk GI Cancer Clinic as well as the director of the Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer Program at MD Anderson.


Moderators
Mark Soliman, MD, FACS, FASCRS
Dr. Soliman is a Florida native and a proud graduate of the University of Florida. After serving as Chief Resident at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, AL, he obtained his advanced subspecialty training in Colorectal Surgery at the Colon and Rectal Clinic of Orlando. He is currently the Chief of Colorectal Surgery for the AdventHealth Digestive Health and Surgery Institute and also the Colorectal Surgery Department Chairman for the AdventHealth Medical Group.


Abhineet Uppal, MD
Dr. Uppal is an Assistant Professor of Colon and Rectal Surgery and an Associate Medical Director of the GI Cancer Clinics at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He received his B.S. and M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then trained in General Surgery at the University of Chicago and completed a research fellowship at the Ludwig Center for Metastasis Research. He then completed General Surgical Oncology and Colon & Rectal Surgery fellowships at John Wayne Cancer Institute and the University of California at Irvine.
