Sponsorship Descriptions

Hands-on Workshops —​ 6 opportunities offered
These exclusive and unique opportunities allow for sponsors to collabrate with attendees around a specific topic of the sponsors choosing. Workshops are non-CME and held for up to 5 hours each. All content, topics, speakers, supplies, etc. are responsibility of sponsor.

ASCRS will provide: Podium, 16’ head table with 6 chairs, room set in theater seats, one (1) screen, one (1) projector, one (1) podium microphone, one (1) wireless lavaliere microphone, two (2) wireless handheld microphones on table stands, basic sound system, one (1) laptop, and one (1) wireless mouse w/ laser pointer, Electric will be provided for the AV equipment provided to you.

Lunch and Learn — 4 opportunities offered
These exclusive and unique opportunities allow for sponsors to collaborate with attendees around a specific topic of the sponsors choosing. Sessions take place during lunch. Symposiums are non-CME and held for up to 1 hour each. All content, topics, speakers, supplies, etc. are responsibility of sponsor.

ASCRS will provide: Podium, 16’ head table with 6 chairs, and classroom seating based on floorplan, one (1) screen, one (1) projector, one (1) podium microphone, one (1) wireless lavaliere microphone, two (2) wireless handheld microphones on table stands, basic sound system, one (1) laptop, and one (1) wireless mouse w/ laser pointer.

Electric will be provided for the AV equipment provided; however, additional usage will need to be reviewed and contracted through a designated convention center partner.

Hotel Reception — 2 opportunities offered
This opportunities takes place at the host hotel is a great opportunity to connect with the membership of the Society. Sponsor will be acknowledged in the mobile app, official website and on signage at the event. Sponsor may display branding and product signage in the venue.

Pelvic Floor Consortium
This annual session is an opprotunity to be a part of growing conversations around pelvic floor disorders. This exclusive opportunity is limited to 2 sponsors who will receive recognition on the mobile app, official website and on-site signage. Sponsors must adhere to ACCME guidelines.

Promotional Eblast
Enhance your marketing presence and reach more than 3,800 colon and rectal surgeons by sponsoring an exclusive e-blast to the ASCRS membership. You provide the content and we disseminate your branded message to our audience.

Mobile App Ads
Banner ads on both and logo inclusion on the mobile app splash page. Sponsor presence will be available as long as the website and mobile app are active. 

Innovation Spotlight Series
This new opportunity allows exhibitors to reach attendees beyond their booth space in engaging and insightful sessions. These 15-minute presentations focus on visionary perspectives in the field of colon and rectal surgery.

Host Hotel Key Cards
Sponsor works directly with approved vendors and the host hotel in the development and distribution of the hotel keys with sponsor’s product promotional message on the keys. Production and distribution cost of the keys are not included in the sponsorship fee. Available for rooms at the host hotel, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.

Host Hotel Room Drops
This sponsorship provides a great opportunity to increase your visibility at the Annual Meeting! This promotional piece will be waiting on attendees when they arrive to their room during the Annual Meeting. The room drops will be brought into the room for attendees and require hotel staff to enter the room. Available at the host hotel. Sponsoring company will work directly with the approved vendors and hotel. A room distribution fee will apply. Production and distribution costs are not included in the sponsorship fee.

Host Hotel Door Drops
This sponsorship provides a great opportunity to increase your visibility at the Annual Meeting! This promotional piece will be waiting on attendees when they arrive to their room during the Annual Meeting. The door drops will be slid under the door and do not require hotel staff to access the room. Available at the host hotel. Sponsoring company will work directly with the approved vendors and hotel. A room distribution fee will apply. Production and distribution costs are not included in the sponsorship fee.

Food and Beverage Breaks
Sponsor receives acknowledgement in the mobile app, official website and branding at each station. All sessions are available for a single sponsorship or sessions can be available individually. 

Fellows Reception
All graduating fellows and colorectal program directors are invited to attend the reception.

Welcome Reception
This event is a great opportunity to connect with the membership of the Society. Sponsor will be acknowledged in the mobile app, official website and on signage at the event. Sponsor may display branding and product signage in the venue.

Farewell Reception
This event closes out the meeting and is another great opporutnity to connect the sponsor's brand with the membership of the Society. Sponsor will be acknowledged in the mobile app, official website and on signage at the event. Sponsor may display branding and product signage in the venue.

DEI Luncheon
 Our DEI committee is thrilled to have this platform to highlight all of the hard work the society has put forth to ensure all feel welcome and literally have a seat at the table. We will also host students from underprivileged backgrounds to dine with us to mentor them and encourage them to pursue careers in medicine and colorectal surgery.

Women in Colorectal Surgery Luncheon
The Women’s Luncheon offers an opportunity for women surgeons, residents and medical students to renew friendships and make new contacts. Sponsor is acknowledged in the Convention Program Guide and on signage at the event.

Resident's Reception
Open to residents and colorectal program directors only. This is a great opportunity to network with colon and rectal surgery program directors, members of the ASCRS Residents Committee, and other faculty from colon and rectal surgery training programs.

New Technologies Symposium
This session is a non-CME symposium dedicated to the principle that through imagination and innovation many of the most challenging problems in the field of colon and rectal surgery can be solved. The focus of this session will be to analyze potentially impactful new innovations in the area of colorectal surgery, such as pharmacology, devices, prototypes, techniques and approaches. Submission and approval of a formal abstract is required prior to sponsorship approval.
