Diseases of the Colon & Rectum (DC&R) is the official journal of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) dedicated to advancing the knowledge of intestinal disorders by providing a forum for communication amongst their members. The journal features timely editorials, original contributions and technical notes. 

The DC&R is mailed to all members on a monthly basis as a member benefit. Also included as a member benefit is access to the journal online allowing members to find related articles or search by topics, or authors.  

ASCRS Members

ASCRS members have full text access to DC&R online by logging in to the ASCRS website first and then clicking here to go directly to the DC&R website.  All members must be logged in on the ASCRS website prior to linking to the journal.  If you are not currently logged in to the ASCRS website please log in. 

Manuscript Submission

Diseases of the Colon & Rectum accepts manuscript submissions through a submission service.  Diseases of the Colon & Rectum has specific instructions and guidelines for submitting articles. Those instructions and guidelines are readily available on the submission service site. Please read and review them carefully. Articles that are not submitted in accordance with their instructions and guidelines are more likely to be rejected.  You will find additional information regarding article submission by clicking on the For Authors heading on the DC&R website.
