The Leela M. Prasad Memorial Debate is a bi-annual symposium which celebrates the art of debate pertaining to controversial topics in colon and rectal surgery. Dr. Leela Prasad believed academic debate was a powerful tool for scholarly learning and helped develop questions for future research to expand medical knowledge.
