Alex Ky, MD, FACS, FASCRS
Dr. Alex Jenny Ky is a professor of surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. She has been practicing colorectal surgery for 23 years, specializing in all aspects of colorectal with a strong interest in robotic surgery for cancer and pelvic floor dysfunction. Dr. Ky was the first female president of the New York Colon and Rectal Society and is currently the President Elect of the Chinese American Medical Society.


Moderators
Luanne Force, MD, FACS, FASCRS
Dr. Luanne Force attended Cornell University where she received a Bachelor of Arts. She then went to complete medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her general surgery training at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Following this she completed a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida and an additional clinical associate year. Dr. Force is currently an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Miami.

Russ Farmer, MD, FACS, FASCRS, MS-HPE
Dr. Russ Farmer is a passionate surgical educator. He completed general surgery and colorectal surgery training at the University of Louisville, where he now serves as faculty. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Farmer serves as Senior Associate Dean for the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
